Be able to follow specific instructions and plans. Candidates should be able to work independently as well as part of a team on a variety of tasks including but not limited to construction, painting, general maintenance, etc. The shift would be between 40 hours weekly with a 9am-5pm work day. The ideal candidate will be punctual, have reliable transportation and a always have a mind for safety and respect towards coworkers.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to work from ladders/scaffolding and lift over 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoors
• Must understand and exhibit experience in the follow areas: electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry, drywall, and tile work
• Perform various carpentry tasks that include installing cabinets, hanging doors, and framing rooms, etc....
• Replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, and faucets
• Complete drywall finishing needs for new and existing drywall installations
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
• Must have proven experience with hand and power tools and equipment
• Should have knowledge and experience with various fabrication methods and materials
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work productively under strict deadlines, and with minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow direction well and work as a team
• Team leadership experience a plus
• Must be able to follow strict safety guidelines for working with sets and prop pieces
• Ability to work safely around others, at heights and around moving machinery, and with exposure to noise, vibration, and dust
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting, bending, standing, climbing, kneeling and/or walking throughout the workday
• Ability and willingness to learn on the job
