Marubeni Citizen-Cincom maintains sales and service offices in New Jersey, California, Illinois and Massachusetts. These offices are responsible for supporting a nationwide network of distributors located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America. MCC is best known for their Citizen CINCOM Swiss-type CNC lathes as well as MIYANO fixed headstock lathes.

Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries received in a timely manner.
Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
Provide basic technical support with a positive customer service attitude.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
Manage local desktop support team.
Oversee IT for five locations in four states – involved 20% travel in US with additional focus on location in MA.
Participate in the development and implementation of IT strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
Assists and interacts with all levels of internal staff and external vendors, supporting end users and administering IT operations.
Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes while adhering to corporate guidelines. Ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for system security administration and user system access.
After research, negotiate and coordinate the purchase, installation and maintenance of computer equipment, printers and mobile devices.
Act as primary point of contact between business units, including Management and Corporate IT in NY (and at times Marubeni Japan).
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5 years of experience working in IT operations
3 years of management experience
Fluent in Microsoft Windows technology with working knowledge of system platforms.
Familiar with SYSPRO or ERP software a plus.
Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
Ability to travel if needed to other MCC offices to solve any ongoing issues.
Support team with customer friendly attitude
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
Effective documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 required.
Work at our North New Jersey location and travel to three other state locations, with additional focus on larger operation in western Massachusetts.
