Martin Transportation Systems is Hiring a Freight dispatcher Near Center, MI
Martin Transportation Systems, is seeking a qualified General Freight Dispatcher for our Byron Center, MI dispatch operations.
The individual selected will dispatch and manage CDL-A drivers on round trip loads while safely meeting revenue and mileage goals for drivers and equipment.
Candidates must possess excellent communication and computer skills (satellite tracking and TMW dispatch software), be multi-task oriented, and enjoy a fast paced work environment.

Job description
General Freight Dispatcher Essential Functions :
- Previous brokerage or general freight experience a plus
- DAT Load board experience required
- Overseeing, coordinating, dispatching and managing CDL-A drivers to ensure timely pick up and delivery of all truckload shipments from vendors to other locations
- Assist with and enforce driver electronic log compliance to HOS regulations and company policy
- Interface with other central dispatch staff, customer service and customers
- Interfacing and updating computer trucking systems
