PurposeThe Parts Professional III is an upper-level position and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely & accurate information regarding accounts, products, promotions, and services offered. Will provide backup to Parts Manager when they are on PTO or out of the office. Resolves customer issues and promotes customer service.
Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to counter and phone customers including welcoming usage of customer names during interactions
• Provides recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories
• Timely and accurate processing of all in-store orders; completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status
• Locating and obtaining merchandise for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise
• Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to Supervisor
• Leads in adjusting and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays
• Proactively calls customers to promote parts and service programs
• Can assist parts manager in performance management by communicating and tracking metrics and observed behaviors
• Will act as a mentor to new employees and identify developmental and training needs
• Provides back up to Aftermarket Parts Specialist as needed

Experience, Education, Skills And Knowledge

• College degree or similar work experience with focus on sales
• 2 years in parts position with Martin Tractor or similar sales/parts experience
• Experience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without supervision
• Complete all training required for Level 1-Certified Parts Professional AND any applicable training required for Level 2-Certified Parts Professional
