POSITION TITLE: Building Maintenance

PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of properties, maintain optimal condition of building and equipment.

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

PAYRATE: $30.00 - $35.00 HOURS/SCHEDULE: Full-Time,

Monday-Friday Start 7:00am Saturday Start 7:00am

DRESS CODE: Steel toe boots,

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Conduct regular inspection of properties and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standard and regulations 

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing fixtures, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems. 

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. 

• Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors and vendors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to project timelines. 

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and expenses. 

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize property damage and ensure longevity of assets. 

• Conduct regular inspections of grounds, including landscaping, parking lots, and common areas, and perform any maintenance or repair needs. 

• Monitor and maintain inventory of building supplies and equipment,

• Perform major and minor remodeling tasks including painting, dry wall, carpentry, etc. 

• Other related assignments as needed. 

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

• Driving License

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Carpentry equivalent

• Basic maintenance and operation of HVAC 

• Basic electrical and plumbing systems 

• Clean driving record 

• Available on-call, and on weekends 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift more than 80 lbs.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time as well as crouch, step, and kneel 

• Work in extreme temperature
