Responsibilities

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.

Position Summary: The Customer Relations Manager is focused on leading & growing our partnership within our customer base. This role will partner with our customers, to share knowledge & resources that will help aid in their cost reduction, service level improvements, and quality improvement initiatives.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Partner with our customers to help implement initiatives & manage various areas of their supply chain.
  • Define, develop, document, and execute a comprehensive logistics and distribution plan that will drive optimal customer service and profitability while supporting customer growth plans.
  • Identify and create policies, processes and procedures that increase efficiencies and optimize the distribution network in conjunction with distribution partners.
  • Work closely with major stakeholders on inventory optimization to attain short term and long term goals.
  • Partner with customer's distribution partners to help identify efficiencies in our collective business: restaurant delivery frequency, product rationalization/standardization, freight optimization, and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Assists in managing the distribution network with an understanding of the appropriate service levels required by our customers and other facilities we support in a cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in the communication process between supply chain partners and all internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information is always available
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 years related work experience in customer management/customer service related field
  • Must be able to travel 50%-85%
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude and professional demeanor
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Willing to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays, due to our 24/7 environment
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
