Position Summary:

MarshBerry is currently seeking a Brand Manager for our Beachwood, OH office. The Brand Marketing Manager, part of MarshBerry’s Experience & Engagement team, is responsible for developing and implementing effective brand strategies to enhance the visibility, awareness, and perception of a company's products or services. This role requires a combination of creative thinking, strategic planning, and effective execution to ensure the brand's consistency and resonance with the target audience.

The Brand Manager will help to steer the brand's direction, ensuring consistency in messaging, and foster a positive and memorable brand image in the minds of colleagues, clients and prospects. The successful candidate will learn and embrace the brand and have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. They will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and proven track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Experience & Engagement executive team to define the brand's unique value proposition, positioning, and differentiation.
  • Develop and execute annual brand plans, including marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent brand positioning, brand image (voice and visual) and implement brand marketing plans.
  • Maintain documentation related to brand guidelines, strategies, and decisions.
  • Create and manage annual advertising campaign to support sales revenue solutions.
  • Ensure messaging is on point for target audience through effective communication strategies as well as ensure consistent application of brand elements across all communication mediums.
  • Maintain project management tracking through use of Monday.com to ensure clear communication with key stakeholders eliminating multiple iterations of messaging content.
  • Assist with content marketing planning through development of infographic content and other opportunities for promotion.
  • Produce, manage and update sell sheets, sales enablement materials, and presentation materials for client engagements as well as new hire promotions and content.
  • Create press releases to promote market transactions, new products and services, and other key milestones for firm.
  • Work independently and cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines and management workload to hit deadlines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the firm and in the industry, especially in support of industry association outreach and engagement.
  • Stay informed about market trends, consumer behavior, and establish competitor tracking and reporting.
  • Learn and understand company’s proprietary data and tools to ensure effective use in brand communication.
  • Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Selection Criteria

  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital marketing channels and strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful, long-term brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite specifically PPT, knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge and project management software / tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Confidence in making timely and informed decisions, considering both short-term and long-term impacts.
  • Effective project management and time management skills to plan, execute, and monitor brand initiatives within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Innovative thinking to develop unique and compelling brand messages, visuals, and campaigns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey brand messages and guidelines internally and externally.
  • Genuine passion for the brand and a deep understanding of its values, mission, and target audience.
  • Passionate team player with strong collaboration skills that strives to create amazing customer experiences.
  • Travel 10% - 20% to MarshBerry offices, programs and events.
