Overview :

The Loss Prevention Lead plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas : operational shrink control, internal investigations, and shortage root cause analysis.

The Lead Specialist reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor, and guides a leads a team of Loss Prevention Associates.

Responsibilities :

• Provide protection of all company's assets including people, property, and information.
• Serve as a business partner in the area of operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink.
• Conduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipment.
• Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations.
• Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities.
• Monitor merchandise entering or leaving the facility.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Maintain and establish fire and safety regulations within the Distribution Center.
• Assists LP Supervisor with setting daily plans and assigning tasks to the LP Specialist team

The Skills that will Make You Successful :

• 3 years of experience and or education in the asset protection, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with senior leaders to drive safety and security initiatives
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites
• Able to lift up to 50lbs of merchandise in boxes

Preferred Qualifications :

• Interviewing and Interrogation experience desired and Wicklander and Zulawski certification is a plus
• Experience working in an industrial setting : warehouse or distribution center.
