Position Overview:

Our HR Recruiter provides support to the Executive leadership team, Operations Director, and Executive Director. This role ensures that workplace needs are being met in the form of employee orientation, benefit administration, recruiting, employee file maintenance, policy creation, quality control, and other HR related administrative duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Operations Director with HR responsibilities.

  • Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

  • Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators. Manage open enrollment and ACA reporting annually.

  • Oversee the completion of benefit documentation and enrollment.

  • Maintain all employee records and official job descriptions.

  • Leave management – FMLA, short disability, and leave of absences.

  • Assist with the recruitment process by recruiting, placing and updating job ads, screening resumes, scheduling/conducting interviews, performing reference checks, and preparing offers.

  • Attend on average 12 job fairs each year and implement recruitment strategies

  • Onboard new hires in HR platform and conduct new hire orientation.

  • Assist with monthly performance review creation, attend performance reviews for applicable staff, generate merit increase letters to be presented to staff, and coach leadership staff through the process.

  • Complete 60 day check in meetings with staff as needed.

  • Ensure employee handbook is updated, well understood and policies enforced consistently.

  • Manage and process the CEU reimbursement benefit 

  • Management of the cleaning contracts and person of contact for any issues or concerns

  • Perform quality control checks of all clinics throughout the year, following up with feedback on repairs needed

  • Weekly and monthly meetings within HR team and other departments

  • Maintenance and distribution of company electronic devices.

  • Coordinate employee communication, including Allstaff meeting slides and providing communication for Marshall Message.

  • Assist with company celebrations, example: Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc.

  • Manage, communicate, schedule, employee development opportunities (Safety Care, Working Genius)

  • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.

  • Keep finance division informed as needed

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

  • Work in conjunction with external HR Consultant regarding employee relations concerns and/or compliance adherence

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in an HR role is preferred but not required.

  • Effective HR administration and people management skills

  • Experience working with an ATS platform is preferred; experience working with Paycom a plus

  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality

  • Professional demeanor and excellent attendance set the example for expected employee behavior

  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Self-motivated; self-directed work style

  • Fantastic problem-solving skills

  • Enjoys providing over-the-top customer service

  • General understanding of employment law

  • Highly computer literate with capability navigating Google Suite, Mac products, and related business and communication tools (Zoom, Ring Central,etc).
