Job Summary

This position will be located at the Corporate Office, 535 Eighth Ave Ste 1002, New York, NY 10018

Bridge Hotel Group is the leading Hotel Management company in New York City with hotels across all major brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and Luxury Boutique. The Area Director of Front Office provides onboarding, training, and development to all of our Front Office TEAM members in New York City. 

You will be responsible for helping them achieve their “more” and driving associate promotion and growth throughout our dynamic organization. You will dive into the Guest Satisfaction scores of the portfolio on a regular basis and formulate training initiatives to help the TEAMs better their GSS Performance, improve retention and drive our industry leading Associate Opinion scores. 

You will hold Quarterly Front Office Leadership Forums to implement broad strokes concepts and improvements to our leader’s knowledge base and improve their processes and execution. You will build lasting and meaningful relationships with all of our property leaders across Bridge’s expanding NYC Portfolio. 

The ideal candidate for this role is an efficient self-starter, enjoys leading and developing TEAM members, has a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills. 

Salary range: $110- $115K

Job Requirements

  • Previous hotel Management experience with proven success in the leadership of teams. 
  • Assistant General Manager Experience preferred 3 years of management experience in the Front Office Operations Proven success in guest service results. 
  • A hospitality management degree or equivalent is a plus. Strong financial knowledge is required. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PMS Systems (Opera, Fosse, OnQ, LightSpeed etc.) 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. 
  • Drive for Results demonstrated through successful performance in prior leadership positions. 
  • Time management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles. 
  • The customer focuses on delivering optimal employee and Customer Satisfaction consistently.

  • For applicants working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $110,000K to $115,000 per year. The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
