Marram Montauk is located on the beachfront property overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of Montauk. It features a sand-colored palette with 96 guestrooms, three quarters of which have ocean views. The rooms include flat-screen televisions and kitchenettes, with microwaves, stovetops, and minifridges. Complimentary yoga sessions are offered in the morning, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant, boutique store, and a pool directly overlooking the beach. The restaurant Mostrador, helmed by renowned South American Chef Fernando Trocca offers a regularly changing counter of local seafood, vegetables, meats, and freshly baked goods that enable guests to indulge in the here and now. The property is a short walk, bicycle ride, or drive from downtown, as well as a few minutes from the Long Island Railroad Station.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Experience and Operations Manager to join the team! As an experience manager, you will play a crucial role in the Guest Satisfaction at our resort. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and increase guest satisfaction ratings. You will monitor and respond to guest reviews, train employees on the best guest experience tactics, while working to improve the overall guest experience.

This is a seasonal position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they deliver a consistent high-quality guest experience.
• Manage and implement guest loyalty programs, including member communications, rewards and benefits.
• Plan, Coordinate and oversee all guest events and activities to enhance their experience and promote guest engagement.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and packages that enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, walk, run, stand, kneel, bend on a continuous schedule.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

• Attending development training as provided by management to increase your overall skills.
• Monitor and manage the event department budget and expenses.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in guest experience management.
• Experienced with guest survey tools and other feedback mechanisms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Analyze data and develop strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience in a guest experience of hospitality management role.
• Degree in hospitality management, business or a related field or an equivalent amount of work-related experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
