Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking vital signs, managing patient records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and record vital signs of patients - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Take dental x-rays and process them for diagnosis - Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records using Dentrix software - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions - Assist with patient assessment and medical history review - Maintain strict infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA guidelines Skills: - Proficient in taking vital signs and assessing patient systems - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology - Experience with dental x-ray equipment and techniques - Familiarity with Dentrix software or similar dental practice management software - Ability to perform dental receptionist duties such as appointment scheduling and record management - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members - Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a positive dental experience for our patients while working in a supportive team environment, we encourage you to apply.
