Marquette Associates is Hiring a Client Analyst, OCIO Services Near Chicago, IL

The role of the Client Analyst, OCIO Services is to support OCIO initiatives at the firm by completing quarterly and monthly investment reporting, participating in OCIO Committee meetings, providing day-to-day client support, and completing special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Associate Director of OCIO Services and other consultants in a team-based environment
  • Provide day-to-day client support as directed; be the main point of contact for auditors, custodians, actuaries, and other third-party contacts
  • Complete client-related reporting materials on a quarterly and/or monthly basis
  • Attend OCIO Committee meetings, prepare materials, implement committee decisions, and provide support for committee follow-up items
  • Coordinate quarterly GIPS composites process
  • Manage cash flows and subscription documents
  • Support the creation of new procedures based on OCIO requirements
  • Act as project manager on designated clients
  • Participate in client meetings with lead consultants in a support role
  • Take an active and constructive role within the firm
Competencies for Success/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and at least three years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of investment industry (e.g., general financial markets knowledge, asset allocation, performance analysis, portfolio construction, investment policy, asset transfers and rebalancing)
  • Advanced Excel skillset
  • Interest in or progress towards professional designations
  • Experience with Investment Metrics (formerly InvestorForce) is a plus
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and react to change positively
  • Attention to detail and highly organized with ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Critical thinking skills, self-starter
  • Excellent follow-up abilities
