Marquardt Group is Hiring a Validation Technician Near , NY

Validation TechnicianWe are currently in search of a Validation Technician to join our Research and Development department of the Marquardt Group in our location Cazenovia (USA).

The Validation Technician supports the laboratory development, production launch and maintenance ofcomponents or systems. Inspect, assemble and conducttests on products. Analyze results andmaintain accurate records. Serviceengineering by building and
maintaining testfixtures, chambers and equipment. Assemble and test products.

Validation Technician Essential Responsibilities:

  • Follow validation schedule and resolve conflicts to ensure timely execution of validation
    to technical specification.
  • Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems andcomponents including injection
    molded plastics,PCBAs, low pressure pneumatics,and low voltage wiring harnesses.
  • Working with signal conditioning and data acquisition equipment to record reliability data
    on units undertest.
  • Performinstallation and repair of test equipment and components as required.
  • Execute small projects aimed attest equipment / process optimization withassistance of
    engineering.
  • Maintain lab, appearance and equipment, in a safe hazard free environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and internalcustomers to share information
    and overcome obstacles.

Validation Technician Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic or equivalent experiencein a technical field.
  • 0-4 years ofexperience.
  • Experience with general office computer tools (word processing, spreadsheets, office
    communications) desired.
  • Ability to establishand maintain effective working relationships withinternal customers,
    peers, and management.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel both domestically not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended hours.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.
