Description

The Pool Manager will directly oversee food servers and bartenders in the pool area of the club in addition to monitoring lifeguard staff to ensure that the daily operation of the pool facilities run smoothly, efficiently, safely and up to the standards of Maroon Creek Club.

Must be willing to work flexible daytime hours, along with occasional night shifts for poolside events. Weekend shifts a possibility.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assist the Director of Food & Beverage and the Assistant Director of F B in the training of all pool service staff.
• Serve as a fine example and mentor to all staff members.
• Oversee daily food service and member satisfaction in a hands-on manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance and remain personable and friendly at all times.
• Establish personal relationships with members and their families, learning names and catering to individual needs.
• Schedule servers, runners, bartenders
• Assist Director of Athletics in supervising lifeguards and assigning tasks, as necessary.

Pool manager is a seasonal position (approx. May 15 through September 5) with potential for year-round employment in other areas of the Food and Beverage department.

Qualifications

Substantial food and beverage experience (with references) required. Staff management skills a definite plus.
