Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective quality system to achieve optimal levels of quality, productivity, and safety to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Major Areas of Accountability / Responsibilities:

• Evaluate client requirements to ensure their needs are met by set customer service standards.
• Implement and/or maintain requirements of ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems.
• Collaborate with quality auditors to implement procedures, systems, and standards or operations.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance standards to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct quality audits to make sure set quality policies and procedures are being adhered to.
• Oversee the recruitment and training of quality auditors to ensure an effective work unit.
• Establish procedures for sampling, recording, and reporting of quality data.
• Conduct and monitor the analysis/inspection of raw materials and final products to ensure compliance with set specifications.
• Organize training for quality assurance staff to enhance their skill knowledge of product quality requirements.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of quality tests and other quality-related activities.
• Prepare and present to senior management reports of quality operations.
• Help communicate quality standards and be available to answer quality related questions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years of ISO 9001 quality management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft suite and Adobe Pro
• Analytic Skill: Quality control managers are able to conduct tests to ensure product conformance
• Organizational Skill: Adept at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality
• Employee management skills: group of 1-5 employees

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous plastic injection molding, profile extrusion or plastic fabrication experience is a plus.
• Familiar with quality inspection tools such as gauge pins, calipers, etc.
• Ability to read technical data dealing with inspection, blueprints, procedures, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work between multiple departments.
