Now Hiring: Quality Lab Supervisor
Are you a seasoned professional in quality control and lab management? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Quality Lab Supervisor! In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our quality lab and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Join us in shaping the future of quality assurance!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Blueprint Reading: Utilize your expertise in blueprint reading to interpret and analyze engineering drawings accurately.
2. Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances (GD&T): Apply your knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure precise measurements and adherence to specifications.
3. Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM): Operate and maintain CMM equipment for accurate dimensional inspections.
4. Optical Comparator: Utilize optical comparators for detailed visual inspections and measurements.
5. Cut & Etch Weld Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and verification of measurement accuracy for welded components.
6. Manual Lay Out: Perform manual layout using surface plates and related tools to ensure accuracy in measurements.
7. Supervision of Lab Technicians: Lead and mentor a team of lab technicians, providing guidance and support in daily activities.
8. Computer Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, CAD, and PC DMIS for data analysis and reporting.
9. Lab Training: Conduct or assist in lab training sessions to ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
10. Testing and Reporting: Set up and conduct testing procedures, recording results accurately and preparing comprehensive reports.
11. Gage and Equipment Calibration/Control: Implement and maintain gage and equipment calibration/control procedures in accordance with QS-Standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
