Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Take food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food to tables
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables for each guest
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
