Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the deli department. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
- Operate the Aloha POS system to process customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of deli products
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and display cases with deli items
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with bussing tables, kitchen operations, and cash handling procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new recipes and techniques
