We are now looking for a Construction Project Manager in our Project Management department to help do just that!

Who are we looking for in this position?

A Construction Project Manager is primarily responsible to provide leadership for the Project Management team. This position facilitates and provides strategic direction for the design and build process of new public restrooms, concessions, and other park buildings. This role works closely and builds effective relationships with the Sales Team, Design Team, Production Team, other internal staff members, and external clients for the entirety of a project. This position plays a key role in moving projects through all phases of construction while maintaining client/customer satisfaction. In addition, this role must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures in order to execute projects efficiently.

What will you do in this position?

MANAGE

  • Provide leadership, training, and define procedures for the Project Management Team.
  • Ensure critical project issues are escalated, as needed, and resolved quickly while implementing strategies and solutions to reduce recurrence.
  • Establish both qualitative and quantitative goals for the project management team.
  • Reviews and approves client and factory change orders.
  • Work with Project Management team to respond to design changes, constructability comments, and plan check comments from customers.
  • Schedule routine meetings with project management team to outline and review project status.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT/REPORTING

  • Develop database of solutions to common problems to use as are reference for future.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, providing insight and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Acts as a resource to internal teams to for any project related questions to avoid delays.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Work closely with sales to review project plans and create pre-bid audit for each project.
  • Prepare and issue RFI’s, factory purchase orders and provide change orders as needed.
  • Create color, design, and utility submittals to send to customer for approval.
  • Red line project construction plans to ensure accuracy for the customer.
  • Issue appropriate notices to proceed to engineering and state agencies.
  • Track and communicate the unique installations list with purchasing, design, and production.
  • Coordinate with clients in a timely fashion regarding the timeline of project construction and their delivery schedule.

SCHEDULING

  • Maintain and communicate the production schedule for our internal and outsourced factory.
  • Monitor project milestones to ensure both factories have a pipeline of work to produce.
  • Coordinate with clients and the logistics team regarding project timelines and delivery schedules.
  • Attend semi-monthly production meetings and update all teams on the status of all projects.

What experience are we looking for in the role?

Education and Experience

  • Four-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering Field, required.
  • 5 years construction project management and/or structural design experience, required.
  • PMP or DBIA certification, preferred.
  • 3 years of managerial experience, preferred.

Skills

  • Construction knowledge: Familiar with construction terminology and processes.
  • Capable of leading and motivating teams, resolving conflicts, and making crucial decisions.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and perform complex computations with reasonable speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Technology

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Adobe Acrobat experience, preferred.
  • Salesforce CRM experience, preferred.
