Job Title: Material Handler I
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Position Description:
The Material Handler I is responsible for receiving and stocking material, preparing pallets for special building orders, and distributing inventory, tools, and parts. The position will also be responsible for additional duties such as cleaning, maintaining, and organizing the warehouse.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, pull, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, grasp, feel, use hands, talk, hear, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer business equipment. Must be able to perform repetitive motions and have adequate hand/eye/foot coordination. Ability to perform heavy physical labor. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds on occasion, up to 50 pounds on regular basis. The noise level in the work environment is usually mid-level.
The overall nature of the position is extremely active requiring heavy physical effort and exertion. There is constant exposure to environmental conditions such as heat, cold, temperature changes, vibrations, hazards, and atmospheric conditions.
