Role Purpose:

Lead category strategy development, sourcing, supplier management and E2E value creation for $150M Ingredients spend portfolio across MAB’s business. Fully accountable for all supplier relationships and performance. Leverage MAB skill/scale for new opportunities and to deliver against broader MAG business objectives. Develop and drive a multi-year Procurement technology roadmap with key stakeholders. This leader will serve on the PLT and help develop the function as it prepares for significant growth across the US and International businesses.

Accountabilities & Impact:

Lead all Procurement and Category Management activities for all Ingredient spends for MAB.

1. Team Leadership – Manage and develop team of 2-3
2. Category Strategy Development – Deliver best-in-class strategies that assure risk and maximize value
3. Sourcing & Contracts Management – Develop and execute sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts for best value.
4. Supplier Performance/SRM – Design and execute supplier performance and strategic relationship frameworks.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Effective leadership and coaching of team members to learn leading Procurement/CatMan practices
• Sound technical knowledge/experience in ingredients/commodities categories for beverage/CPG, including corn syrups, sugars, sweeteners, alcohol blenders, flavors, juices, acidulants and others.
• Category management capabilities to mobilize cross-functional teams to manage risk and deliver value.
• Leading a team to deliver rapid results in an fast-paced environment – Developing strategic capability and translating insight into value-creating outcomes.
