Marjon Advisors is Hiring a Shipping Clerk Near Stow, MA
We have an immediate need for a shipping associate for our growing manufacturing client.
In this role you will:
Create packaging material for machinery and parts which will be shipped to customers.
Prepare labels for shipping and enter the data into the log.
Prepare skids of finished goods for shipping.
Use fork truck and manual moving devices to transport equipment and parts to the loading dock.
Load items to be shipped onto trucks after weighing.
Keep orderly files of shipping records
Notify the supervisor of low supplies of packing materials.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Observe all health and safety requirements.
Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
Safety shoes and safety glasses are required by all shop personnel and must be worn at all times while in the shop.
Face shields may be required during some cutting operations.
Hearing protection is available to all employees and is encouraged during noisy operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license
1 to 3 years shipping experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
