Mariscos San Pedro is an upcoming Mexican seafood restaurant located in Pilsen by the owners of Taqueria Chingon, Obélix, and Le Bouchon set to open mid-June.

We are hosting an open call for all interested candidates on Wednesday & Thursday, May 22nd and 23rd, from 10am - 6pm!

The Pilsen community is a thriving center of culture and hospitality, and our hope is that the property at 18th & Allport is a beacon for that culture. Mariscos San Pedro and sister concepts 16 On Center's Punch House, Tack Room, and the renowned venue Thalia Hall continue to be a destination for fine people to gather around art, entertainment, and great food and beverage.

Position Summary

We are searching for experienced Bartenders to join our team, starting in early June. This role requires a passion for crafting exceptional cocktails and providing outstanding service to our guests. As part of our team of dedicated bartenders, you will contribute to creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy their experience. We take ourselves seriously, but also pride ourselves on fostering a work environment that is fun, balanced, and collaborative. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction

• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

• Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and ensure responsible serving practices

• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately

• Monitor guest behavior and intervene as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment

• Work collaboratively with BOH and FOH team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction

• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to stay informed about menu changes, promotions, and company policies.

Skills

• Experience as a bartender in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment

• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
