Now Hiring: Alternative Education Teacher at Marinette High School
Marinette High School is seeking an individual, with high energy and a strong commitment to student success, to join our Marine Team as an Alternative Education Teacher. The position will provide project-based learning opportunities, connections to Academic & Career Planning (ACP), with an emphasis on social emotional learning, and building community partnerships to support student learning and success.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide academic instruction for students requiring extensive alternative education supportCollaborate with teachers and local businesses to assist students in creating Academic and Career Plans that allow for exploration of post-secondary education and career options
• Provide case management for students requiring intensive interventions
• Create, implement and monitor student progress
• Provide off-site instruction as necessary
• Monitor online learning activities of assigned students

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelors Degree
• Wisconsin Certification as required (1952: Alternative Education, or ability to obtain certification through coursework completion
• Possess strong organizational, written language, verbal skills and communication skills
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies
