Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the company. You will also be responsible for tracking the company’s financial performance against the plan/budget, analyzing business performance and trends to create forecasts, conduct thorough data analysis, produce reports using financial and operational data, and help executive management make tactical and strategic decision. The person in this role will work collaboratively across the entire accounting and finance team and senior management. To succeed in this position, you must be detailed oriented, driven, have a passion for analyzing data, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support to executive management

- Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly reports which include key metrics, financial results, operational performance, and

variance reporting

- Analyze past results, perform analysis, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations

- Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization

- Collaborate to perform data and process analyses required

- Articulately and concisely explain the implications of financial data

- Develop and provide tools and models for executives to make strong business decisions and strategic decisions

- Assist in the annual budgeting process

- Contribute to short and long-term goal setting

- Collaborate regularly with various business leaders and teams

- Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

Position Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (accounting, finance, statistics, math, business)

- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or other related fields.

- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

- Proven work experience in quantitatively heavy role

- Attention to accuracy and detail

- Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel

- Solid Microsoft Office skills

- Exceptional organizational and presentation skills

- Must be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving, results oriented environment

- Must be willing to work with and learn new technologies
