Duties:

As a Certified Medical Assistant, your core duties will include:

• Performing routine administrative and clinical tasks to assist medical professionals.
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments.
• Taking patient histories and measuring vital signs.
• Preparing patients for examination and performing basic laboratory tests.
• Assisting doctors during physical exams, minor surgeries, and medical procedures.
• Administering medication as prescribed by the physician.
• Understanding and complying with laws relating to patient confidentiality.
• Coordinating patient care from check-in through discharge.
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment to ensure quality patient care.
• Facilitating patient-centered communication with frontline staff and administrative personnel.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Be a team player, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Have familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
• Have knowledge of medical office procedures and basic accounting principles.
• Possess CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Valid driver's license
