Mariani Premier Group is Hiring a M&A Senior Analyst Near Bluff, IL

Position Summary:

Mariani Premier Group is actively seeking an M&A Senior Analyst to join our team. This pivotal role in our Corporate Development Team encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to target identification and evaluation, financial analysis, industry research, and facilitating transaction completions. Additionally, the M&A Senior Analyst will manage Mariani’s internal database of acquisition targets. Reporting directly to the Vice Presidents of Corporate Development, this role demands close collaboration with stakeholders across the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the M&A Senior Analyst include:

  • Conducting in-depth research on potential target companies and industry trends.
  • Identifying and evaluating new acquisition candidates across various geographies using Mariani’s proprietary ten-step company identification process.
  • Collaborating with internal resources and operating partners to source and screen acquisition opportunities.
  • Managing and maintaining Mariani’s internal acquisition targets database in Dealcloud.
  • Preparing internal reports for deal flow monitoring.
  • Developing detailed company profiles and conducting key data reviews.
  • Assisting in various stages of the acquisition process, including financial modeling, board presentations, and due diligence summaries.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience or internship experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented approach.
  • Capability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of completion.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Working Conditions:

This role involves intermittent physical activity, including standing, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer terminal. Responsibilities may occasionally require evening and weekend work to meet internal and external client needs and deadlines.
