Maria Montessori School is Hiring a Preschool Assistant Teacher Near San Diego, CA
Maria Montessori School, a private Pre-K through 8th Grade school in San Diego, is seeking a teacher’s assistant for our preschool and childcare programs. The position is full-time (8 hours), Monday through Friday. We are seeking a candidate who is experienced, warm, enthusiastic, and committed to respecting and meeting the needs of each child as a unique individual. Check us out: www.MontessoriSchoolHouse.org
This staff position:
- assists teachers with the implementation of our Montessori curriculum in a way consistent with the unique needs of each child
-creates a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and develop
-cultivates positive relationships with teachers and children
-provides support with classroom cleaning, lunch supervision and/or playground duty, and after-school program.
School is centrally located in San Diego County. We have a long history and strong reputation of providing quality Montessori education for ages 3-14. Benefit package is available to full time staff.

The successful Candidate must have:
- Experience working with children in a preschool setting
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass TB screening test and Live Scan
- Six Education (ECE) or Child Development Units
- Montessori school experience and 12 Units preferred
