We are looking for a friendly, dependable, detail oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Reservations/Group Coordinator at Margaritaville Beach House.
Job Duties: answering telephones, providing excellent customer service to guests calling in, answering questions, quoting availability and rates, multi-tasking, organizing and providing everything necessary to the guest to ensure a satisfying guest experience, as well as their future stay at the resort.
Responsibilities: Answer the telephone and greet prospective guests in a friendly manner using clear communication.
Provide prompt, accurate information regarding availability, accommodation types, transportation to and from hotel, rate, etc. Assign reservations based on guest preferences and availability.
Promote marketing programs.
Retrieve, analyze, and accurately input reservation data from varying distribution channels into computer system and utilizing codes for efficiency.
Answer questions (via phone or email) regarding hotel facilities and services, airline partnerships, local attractions, directions, etc.
Communicate applicable deposit and guarantee policies as requested.
Handle complaints in a tactful manner and negotiate resolutions such as alternative accommodations when hotel is sold out.
Complete entire reservations process. Charge appropriate deposits to guest credit cards. Create and send out confirmation letters for all guest reservations.
Create vouchers for package bookings. Print and check back-ups of reservations in computer system to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
Prior hospitality or related industry experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Key West area
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Maintain focus in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Work with little or no direct supervision.
