In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the transformation of our data platform, ensuring its scalability, security, and ability to deliver actionable insights across the organization.Lead the development and execution of a strategic roadmap for the data platform, encompassing data lake, data warehouse, data modeling, and architecture.Lead the team of architects and engineers that is responsible for developing the implementing technology standards for the data platform to deliver incremental value continually.Lead the operations of the platform and ensure existing capabilities are delivered at the right uptime and performanceChampion data governance initiatives, establishing clear policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.In partnership with the security team, lead the security definition and implementation of those across the layers of the platformBuild a culture of data ownership, deep domain understanding across the teamOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust and scalable data platform infrastructure.Foster a culture of data-driven decision making by collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and map to platform evolution.Manage a team of talented data engineers, data architects, and data scientists, fostering their professional development.Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in the data platform space, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:10 Years of Prior Relevant ExperienceDeep technical and architecture expertise in data lake, data warehouse, and databasesDeep expertise and experience in data modeling and data architecture principles.Deep Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).Experience with Data Bricks, Snowflake, TeraData, Azure Hyperscale or one of the large data platforms.Extensive experience with data governance and security best practices.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a high-performing team.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with business stakeholders across the organization.Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Experience within the hospitality or entertainment industry.Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for business users.#J-18808-Ljbffr
