About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and will be responsible fortax research; tax planning; and preparation of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns for clients in various industries.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation of basic to intermediate individual, partnership and corporate returns for clients in various industries
• Basic tax research skills
• Prepare, organize and maintain engagement work papers and files
• Communicate effectively with clients and develop positive relationships with client personnel
• Communicate with Senior and/or Manager on work status and client issues that arise
• Manage multiple client assignments at any given time
• Actively pursue self-development opportunities, including staff training courses

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar role preferred
• Tax preparation experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, but also work well with others
• Experience with ProSystem Tax and ProSystem Engagement a plus
• CPA completed or working towards the CPA preferred
• Build interest and understanding in a minimum of 1-2 industry areas which the firm services
