SUMMARY OF JOB:

We are a leading direct marketer of promotional products and meeting supplies, having served tens of thousands of businesses and organizations across the country for over 60 years. As our Director of Marketing, you would lead a team of internal staff and external partners using email, snail mail, paid and organic search and social media to further develop our existing customers and find and convert new buyers. You will need extensive B2B direct marketing experience, a strong quantitative analytical mind and comprehensive knowledge of branding. You will be joining an experienced team of managers who average 10 years with the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, plan and implement the overall digital and print marketing strategy.
• Develop and manage marketing budgets.
• Work with the management team to create sales forecasts and implement branding initiatives.
• Improve organic results using internal resources and the company’s 3rd party advisors.
• Participate in managing our paid search programs and 3rd party advisors.
• Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
• Measure and manage online content.
• Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives.
• Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous contracts.
• Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction.
• Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Established knowledge of Hubspot, pay-per-click marketing and Google Analytics.
• Excellent Leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media and content marketing.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
• Professional and proactive work ethic.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
• High competency in project and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Applications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in marketing and long-range planning.
