Restaurant Shift Manager Job Description

Shift Managers supervise the entire crew and all work stations in the day-to-day operations of a Marco's pizza store on either day or night shifts. Responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and customer service, as well as adhering to all procedures and policies and making sure the entire crew does too. Product, Service and Image fall under the Shift Manager, the cornerstones of Marco’s. With great opportunities for advancement with the fastest growing pizza company in the country, Marco’s hires many of its Assistant Managers from the Shift Manager ranks.

Restaurant Shift Manager Responsibilities

• Safety and security of customers and employees
• Product (quality)
• Service
• Image
• Sales building (e.g. local store marketing)
• Training, hiring, retaining employees
• Administrative and computer functions

Restaurant Shift Manager Qualifications

Must be 18. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have similar experience in either a food or retail environment. Must have food handlers permit.

Compensation is negotiated based on experience. Pay increases regularly given to top performers.

Typical end time:

• 11 PM Weekdays, 12 AM Weekends, 10 PM Sundays

Typical start time:

• 9AM
