Implementation Specialist (Asset Management)

Marathon TS is seeking an Implementation Specialist in Hanover MD for a Hybrid position (1-2 days onsite when needed). The Maximo team is looking to add an Implementation Specialist to deliver Maximo centric projects for the enterprise. The are several third-party products being rolled out to the enterprise including EZMaxMobile and Geonexus.
Job Duties:

• Performs day-to-day management of the project, identifies issues and risks and recommends possible issue and risk mitigation strategies associated with the project
• Is responsible for ensuring that work performed under Task Orders is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget.
• Identifies critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria. Provides solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels).
• Monitors issues and provides resolutions for up-to-date status reports.
• Develop policies and procedures for maintaining asset data in Maximo
• Ensure proper procedures for tracking work on assets
• Demonstrates excellent writing and oral communications skills.

Key Goals of this position:

• Improving the Data collected on Asset Life Cycle Maintenance and cost details
• Utilization of Improved Maintenance Data to conduct proactive facility planning
• Modernization and streamlining of the Work Order Management process

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline. Master's degree or project management certification is preferred.
General Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in project management.
Specialized Experience:

• At least five (5) years of experience in managing IT related projects and must demonstrate a leadership role in at least three successful projects that were delivered on time and on budget.
• IBM Certified Functional Deployment Professional and/or IBM Certified Advanced Deployment.
• Working knowledge with Maximo 7.6.x application
• Knowledge of EZMaxMobile or other similar mobile work management systems
• Knowledge of Geonexus or other similar mobile work management systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
