Marathon Staffing is currently hiring a Watercraft Inspection Specialist . This position is available immediately and may lead to long-term employment.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work outdoors. Lodging is included and a daily allowance in addition to the hourly wage.

Job Description

• Perform AIS watercraft inspections and decontamination utilizing high pressure hot water (140 F) to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invasive species;
• operate and perform minor repairs on a mobile decontamination unit;

collect AIS boater information; perform educational AIS outreach

tow a mobile decontamination unit utilizing a state vehicle.

Incumbents will be outdoors a majority of the time and often in inclement weather and will be required to physically move around, in and underneath stationary land-based watercraft.

Weekend / Holiday duties are required. Incumbents will be

trained to perform watercraft inspections and decontamination.

Must be able to pass and maintain criminal and DMV background check and drug test. *

Shifts could be 4 / 10-hour days.
