Overview

We are selectively seeking a highly-skilled communicator and detail-oriented Inspector to join our team in Arkansas. At Marathon Property Inspectors, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate the integrity of home systems and safety of residential properties. Your expertise will help potential buyers and homeowners make informed decisions about their properties.

Responsibilities:

- Patience. Our clients deserve our undivided attention and to have every question answered.

- Ridiculously Positive Attitude. A home purchase is a stressful situation for our clients. A positive attitude, even when you just hit your head in a crawlspace, and it still hurts, is crucial.

- Communicate. Anyone can inspect a home. Not everyone can tell the story of the home. We will teach you how.

- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their overall condition and identify any potential issues or safety hazards.

- Inspect key areas of the property, such as the foundation, roof, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, insulation, and other structural components.

- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for repairs or improvements. These will be completed on site. Little to no work at home.

- Clearly communicate inspection findings to clients, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the property's condition and any necessary actions to be taken.

- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant inspections.

- Maintain professional relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the inspection process.

Requirements:

- Arkansas Resident – southern Missouri may be considered

- Must have completed Home Inspection Training through Internachi, ICA, ASHI, etc.

- Existing or planned licensure as a Home Inspector in the state of Arkansas.

- Some knowledge of residential construction and building codes. We will teach you.

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues or safety hazards.

- Proficient in using specialized inspection tools and equipment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to clients.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
