Nurse Practitioner

Marathon Health is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to treat and work with the employees of Chatham County at their near-site health and wellness center in Savannah, GA.

This is a 25 hour per week position. No on-call or weekends. We offer excellent salary and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, HSA, malpractice, CME assistance, life and disability, paid time off and holidays.

Hours: Mon 8am-6pm, Tues & Thurs 9am-6pm

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical staff within the Marathon Health Center. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner within a primary care/family practice setting
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure
  • Qualified applicants should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program

COVID-19 Vaccinations are not mandated at Marathon Health unless there are specific client requirements or applicable state laws.
