Maples Industries, Inc. is Hiring an Applicator Operator Near Scottsboro, AL

Print, apply UPC/RFID and count labels for use in production areas.

Essential Functions:

Sets up Label Applicator, un-bands labels and loads into machine.
Enters data and applies UPCs/RFIDs.
Inspects labels, UPCs and/or RFIDs for errors.
Reviews set up book to match labels and UPCs/RFIDs.
Counts and sends labels to correct area.
Scans each item used out of inventory.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to operate printers, computers, and scanners.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel and climb stairs. Generally no lifting requirements over 4 lbs., may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
