Activity Assistant
Assist with the organization and implementation of social gatherings and activity programs for the residents of MVNH.
:
- Planning and organizing: Assistance with planning and scheduling daily, weekly, or monthly activities.
- Leading activities: Leading group activities like games, exercise programs, and arts and crafts.
- Encouraging participation: Interacting with residents and encouraging them to participate in activities.
- Setting up and cleaning: Setting up, dismantling, and storing activity supplies and seasonal decorations, and cleaning up after each activity.
- Assisting residents: Assisting residents, monitoring their safety during group activities, and providing individual support to residents who may have difficulty participating in group activities.
- Documenting participation: Documenting resident participation in activities
- Coordinating scheduling: Coordinating scheduling with other staff to avoid conflicts when needed.
- Creating inclusion plans: Creating inclusion plans for residents with special needs
- Observing participants: Observing participants at events gauge their enjoyment and obtain their feedback to improve events.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.41 per hour
