Job description:
* Interacting with residents in a friendly and professional manner.
* Communicating with family and friends in a professional and comforting manner.
* Hygiene routines with residents: assisting with activities of daily living.
* Assisting with meal times.

The primary purpose of the Medication Technician job position is to administer or assist with the administration of prescribed medications to residents and to maintain related medical records in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Wellness Director, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

The Caregiver position is to provide care to residents under the supervision of a manager while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice. The caregiver regularly observes residents’ physical and mental conditions and reports changes to the supervisor, nurse, or appropriate medical personnel.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Medication Administration: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medication Aide (Preferred)
