Job Summary
We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy restaurant! In this role, you will prepare a variety of baked goods and pastries.
You will have creative license to propose new items and will be responsible for the bakery sales and production. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the week ahead.
The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you! Early mornings are a must! You will be working with a state of the art Rational Oven.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Prepare custom orders
- Track and maintain inventory as necessary
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and serv safe certification (will have 30 days to obtain)
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player
- Available for early morning shifts
