Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing leader in the food manufacturing industry located in Quincy, MA who is seeking to bring on a Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with manufacturing industry experience and 5 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Management of month-end close
• Mentoring and managing accounting staff
• Assistance with cost accounting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial statement preparation

Qualifications of the role:

• Manufacturing or food & beverage industry experience preferred
• 5 years accounting experience
• Ownership of GL and month-end close background
