Mantle is Hiring an Inventory Control Specialist (Temporary) Near San Francisco, CA

You will join a diverse, cross-functional team working to bring the most advanced precision metal 3D printing technology to market.

The Role

This temporary role will report to the Materials Manager on the Manufacturing team. We are looking for someone to assist in the warehouse and logistics area. You will do the following:

  • Support receiving materials shipments, verify to the item master in ERP/PLM
  • Stock items to main inventory, add and manage inventory bins as required
  • Pull material kits per Work Order/BOM spreadsheet and transfer to build staging area; identify shortages and report on shortage report
  • Support packing activities and prepare material shipments and ensure Way Bill is managed/recorded for each outbound shipment

Must Haves

  • Strong attention to detail. You are the last person to see the hardware before the customer gets it
  • Fast learner- startup environment with constantly changing systems, processes, and priorities
  • Good communicator- most directions will be via chat messages, email, and Jira tickets. Must be responsive and able to multitask
  • Must be adaptable and a self-starter
  • Experience with ERP systems for work orders, transfers, cycle counts, and shipments (prefer NetSuite)
  • Experience packaging, receiving, and shipping
  • Able to lift 30/50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience as a Logistics/Inventory Specialist in a fast paced start-up environment
  • You must be self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP Systems
  • Must have experience tracking in-coming and out-going material

The pay range for this role is $30 - $35 per hour and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, skills, and location. Mantle is an equal opportunity employer.
