Job Summary: Responsible for the upkeep of all vehicles within the district.Qualifications: High School Diploma and Any Related CertificationsSupervision: Directly responsible to the Transportation Director and Superintendent of SchoolsContract Length: 240 daysResponsibilities:1. To keep all school vehicles running properly.2. To perform monthly inspection of all buses.3. To keep all paperwork detailing inspections and maintenance on vehicles.4. Service all buses 2 times per year.5. Weekly fuel and clean inside/outside of buses.6. Daily check back windows of buses for dust and remove it.7. Perform general maintenance:Fluids and filters Wiper bladesTiresBrakesLights and flashersSeat coversMaintain bus bodiesLawnmowersTractorSchool vehicles8. Bus shop to be cleaned weekly.9. Be willing to drive a bus route.10. To help perform maintenance and operations of buildings as assigned by the Superintendent.11. To have high standards of conduct and work ethic.12. To work and cooperate with all school personnel for improvements of the total school program.13. Drive daily shuttle routes and substitute bus driver.14.
