Job Summary:
The Mansfield Housing Authority provides housing for low income families in Mansfield and surrounding towns. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
- Provide administrative support to the Section 8 Coordinator and the Executive Director including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining files
-Assist the Section 8 Coordinator with management of the program
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and coordinating employee benefits
- Manage the office calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings as needed
-Cross train in all functions of the Housing Authority
-Support annual recertification of tenants
-Manage and update all Housing Authority forms
- Management the waiting lists for the housing programs
-Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree related to position
-2-5 years related work experience
-Proficient in front desk operations and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of human resources processes and procedures
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
-Work with maintenance requests and maintenance personnel
-Document and write standard operating procedures
-Ability to use Microsoft Office products
