Position Description:

A growing Centennial area personal injury firm is looking for an experienced in-office pre-litigation paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, professional, responsible, and versed in the management of personal injury claims from start to finish.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

• Manage client communication and attorney calendaring.

• Obtain, organize, review, and redact medical records, collision information, and client data.

• Draft medical chronologies.

• Track and organize medical payments information.

• Prepare demand letters.

• Attend meetings/calls with clients and insurance adjusters.

• Process subrogation including Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, VA, Tricare and standard health insurance.

Qualifications:

• A critical thinker who has strong interpersonal abilities, who takes initiative and is adept at self-direction.

• Must be able to work individually and as a team member.

• Strong professional writing skills and familiarity with case management software, word, excel, and web-based applications.

• Detail oriented and highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Attentive and detailed communication through telephone, email, and note tracking.

• Motivated to work on claims of all sizes, interested in personal injury law work, and wanting to apply skill set to achieve personal & firm goals, job satisfaction, and growth.

• Practical and efficient approach, with an appreciation for work-life balance and positive attitude.

• 3 years’ experience as a personal injury pre-litigation paralegal is ideal but not required. Paralegal education, certification, or training will also be considered.

• Spanish or other non-English fluency a benefit but not required.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 depending on experience.
