At MANN HUMMEL, we're seeking a talented Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. As a Demand Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in analyzing customer demand, optimizing inventory levels, and exceeding service goals. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll leverage data analysis, statistical modeling, and market trends to drive effective inventory management strategies.

Main Tasks

  • Craft account or brand-specific forecasts, integrating replenishment data, point-of-sale insights, and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate product history and forecasts, especially during promotional periods.
  • Analyze demand streams to identify patterns and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate intelligence into demand planning processes.
  • Implement promotional and pricing strategies aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to align forecasts with production plans.
  • Monitor demand patterns and market dynamics, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Lead demand planning meetings to review accuracy and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Develop KPIs to measure forecast accuracy and optimize inventory management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes and systems.
  • Provide insights for new product launches and inventory optimization initiatives.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in demand forecasting techniques and statistical modeling.
  • Experience integrating demand forecasts with supply chain planning.
  • Strong collaboration skills and knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MRP systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level demand planning tools and BI techniques.
  • Strategic thinking and experience managing demand planning processes at various levels.
