MANDULEY & CAMISASSA is Hiring an Immigration Paralegal Near Los Angeles, CA

Busy Immigration Law Firm, located in Los Angeles/ Universal City Area, has Full Time position for a bilingual (English & Spanish) Paralegal.

Paralegal Role/ Duties

  • Assist attorney with gathering evidence, preparing supporting documents, preparing evidence and exhibits to be filed with the Immigration Court ( EOIR) , and complying with procedural requirements and filing deadlines;
  • Must have experience managing consular process cases; and filing I-601 Waivers, I-212 waivers.
  • Have knowledge on the management and filing of family-based immigration matters, Adjustment of Status, Family Petition,I-751, Naturalization, Special immigrant visas, including U, T, VAWA and DACA.
  • We prefer someone with Special Immigrant Juvenile Experience with State Court.
  • Analyze and review case details to determine future actions;
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and initiative with regard to case assignments and identify and resolve delays in process;
  • Prepare/coordinate document production and responses to requests for evidence;
  • Conduct ongoing case tracking and management.

Skills.

· MUST have at least three years of experience in immigration law.

· Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish (Reading / Writing / Speaking required).

· Ability to manage client relationships for high-volume clients and complex projects under short deadlines

· Strong attention to detail

· Proficiency with various technology platforms, including Microsoft Office and Immigration Case Management Software;

· Communicate effectively in oral and written English

· Strong organizational and project management skills

· Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize assignments in a fast- paced environment

· Educational Requirements: Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate
