**Job Description: **
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of both the shipping and receiving departments. This position involves handling various tasks related to material receipt, processing, shipping, and maintaining accurate records within the facility.
**Responsibilities: **
1. Manage both shipping and receiving functions within the facility.
2. Handle tasks related to the receipt and processing of materials into inventory.
3. Input receiving and shipping information into the accounting system for accurate record-keeping.
4. Cross-train to efficiently perform functions in both the shipping and receiving departments.
5. Responsible for pick-up or drop-off of materials or products to customers or suppliers, as required.
**Skills and Attributes: **
1. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
2. Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and capabilities.
3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
**Education: **
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is an asset.
